I held held multiple commercial roles at BrightInsight with increasing responsibility. Can you share a bit of background on yourself?

Grew up my childhoold in Alaska. My dad was a psychiatrist and chief of mental health for the VA Health System and would move frequently. Hated the site of blood but passionate about healthcare, I skipped med school to pursue a degree in biotechnology. I was too ADD to enjoy working in the lab, but loved the concepts of health + digital, I went on to pursue a Masters in business and science.

Coming out of grad school, went straight into management consulting focused exclusively in life sciences. Saw an opportunity and co-founded a digital health startup in the medtech space called Nurep. Built it from a palo alto garage build to a fully validated concept while raising a large seed round of funding from top digital health investors in the valley. The company has since taking off and raised over 150M growing rapidly and excited to still be a founder and watch on the sidelines their massive growth.
