Our industry as a whole has been busy innovating, and each and every team member at BrightInsight has worked hard alongside our customers to bring life-enhancing medical technology to market.

We introduced BrightInsight's Disease Management Solution and Connected Diagnostics Platform, both of which pave the way for biopharma and medtech companies to launch much-needed digital health solutions. And with support from numerous partners, including Lyniate and ClaritasRx, we launched the BrightInsight Ecosystem, which connects forward-thinking biopharma, medtech and technology companies as they work to put patient needs front and center.

January

We announced our partnership with Sanofi during the annual JP Morgan Conference. Together, we're working to bring to market a next-generation digital companion app that will transform patient outcomes.

We held our third annual BrightInsight Week, a virtual event aimed at connecting our team and celebrating successes.

February

We announced our role in helping CSL Behring launch a mobile app for Hizentra, to improve the treatment experience for patients with rare diseases. This app is an industry-leading innovation in the rare diseases space and is making a huge impact for patients living with rare diseases. The app has an adoption rate of 20% of the U.S. patient population and a 4.6 star app rating in the App Store, we are incredibly proud of the traction of this app.

March

Members of our team attended the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) 2022 Annual Conference in Orlando. More than 26,000 people attended the conference in person, and together we explored how our industry can reimagine health.

April

In our commitment to continuous investment in our industry defining BrightInsight Platform and were proud to release 12 new enhancements.

May

We added Karl Hick, former Chief Digital and Information Officer at Takeda Pharmaceuticals, to the BrightInsight Advisory Council. Karl brings 25 years of pharma, technology and business experience to the table.

APAC Entrepreneur named our CEO and Co-Founder, Kal Patel, MD, one of the Most Successful Indian Entrepreneurs in the US.

June

Our Disease Management Solution launched at BIO 2022 in San Diego. We were thrilled to make the announcement to many of our colleagues in person, and the solution is already enhancing the patient experience and inspiring innovators.

At BIO, we partnered with McKinsey & Company and Google Cloud to host a Digital Thought Leadership Summit. The Summit brought together top life sciences and digital executives from across the globe, including representatives from Sanofi, Otsuka, Dexcom, J&J, Kyowa Kirin and Mayo Clinic.

We were named the 2022 Most Innovative Digital Health Solutions Platform by Acquisition International Magazine.

July

We launched our Connected Diagnostics Platform, a one-stop shop for in vitro diagnostics manufacturers. The announcement was made at the 2022 AACC Annual Science Meeting and Clinical Lab Expo in Chicago.

August

We named Elisabethann Wright, a partner at Cooley, to our Digital Health Advisory Council. Elisabethann Wright specializes in EU law and regulation of pharmaceuticals and medical devices and is regularly sought-after and praised for her knowledge of the legislation, technical competence and commercial acumen. She brings over 35 years experience practicing in the life sciences sector.

September

We announced our partnership with bioMérieux to launch Clinical Digital Solutions for in vitro diagnostics.

We launched the BrightInsight Ecosystem, a network of the world’s leading healthcare and technology companies collaborating to solve the biggest healthcare challenges to drive digital innovation, adoption and engagement. The BrightInsight Ecosystem includes more than 20 healthcare and technology companies, including bioMérieux, Claritas Rx, CSL Behring, Google Cloud, Lyniate, Novo Nordisk, Woebot Health, Xealth and many more.

We named Tamara Elias, M.D., Scott Huennekens and Brad Gescheider to the BrightInsight Advisory Council. Dr. Elias, is Senior Vice President at Nuance, and brings 20 years healthcare experience across a spectrum of diverse roles. Huennekens, is executive chairperson at Hyperfine, Wondr Medical, Acutus Medical and Envista Holdings Corporation and is a seasoned medtech CEO, chairperson, board member, entrepreneur and investor. Gescheider is CCO at Woebot Health and has served as Vice President & Global Head of Digital Innovation & Patient Services, Immunology for Sanofi.

October

CEO and Co-Founder, Kal Patel, MD moderated a panel discussion at DTx East in Boston entitled, “Driving technology into workflows to scale transformation across healthcare systems,” with Cynthia Church, Chief Strategy Officer, Xealth, Brad Gescheider, former VP and Global Head, Digital Innovation and Patient Services, Immunology at Sanofi and Chief Commercial Officer, Woebot Health, and Stephen Klasko, MD, former President, Thomas Jefferson University & CEO, Jefferson Health, and Executive in Residence, General Catalyst.

We were a finalist in the annual Fierce Life Sciences Awards in the Digital Health Solutions category. This was the second year in a row that we were honored as a finalist.

November

The Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ ranked us the 217th Fastest-Growing Company in North America.

We announced at #HLTH in Las Vegas that we expanded our partnership with CSL Behring to build, launch and maintain digital solutions to accompany their medications for patients with rare diseases.

These 2022 accomplishments represent a true team effort, with BrightInsight employees all over the company showing expertise, dedication, and a commitment to helping our customers meet their digital health goals. Onward to 2023!
