Employee Spotlight: Heather Gibbons, Senior Technical Recruiter and Ultimate Foodie!

Employee Spotlight Heather Gibbons

What’s your title/role at BrightInsight?

Senior Technical Recruiter, I have the honor of orchestrating the search and hiring of our BrightInsight talent.

Can you share a bit of background on yourself?

I was born and raised in Michigan where I went to school for Radio Broadcast initially. It wasn’t until my final project that I was given the feedback that I sounded too much like a member Alvin and the Chipmunks to ever have a career in radio. At that stage it was on to plan B and I went into radio sales, over time that morphed into a career in staffing account management and recruiting.

What is your favorite food?

I am a HUGE foodie, so my favorite food is constantly changing as I try new things. If I had to pick on thing right now, it would be Dungeness Crab.

Where is your favorite place on earth?

While “There’s no place like home” is the first things that pops into my head I have a huge case of wanderlust and love traveling to different places to experience the culture and food.

Which of BrightInsight’s Values most resonates with you and why?

Excellence in the products we deliver and the people we hire.

The number one question I get asked about in my role is “what is the culture like at BrightInsight”. The answer is always easy. I rave about our team and how by hiring with excellence we can know with confidence that all other BrightInsight Value’s will be met as a team.

What is your favorite part about working at BrightInsight?

My favorite part of working at BrightInsight is being a part of a team that constantly wants to get better in every aspect, together. The environment here is always one of collaboration and teamwork and makes everyday a great day to be here.

What are your hobbies outside of work?

Outside of work you will usually find me in one of three places, the kitchen trying new pescatarian recipes, in my favorite chair reading a mystery or in the theater room watching horror movies or romcom’s. I hope to add international travel to this list as soon as possible!
