I am a UX/UI designer at BrightInsight primarily focused on remote patient monitoring solutions for both healthcare providers and patients across a wide range of diseases. I also manage BrightInsight’s design system to ensure accessibility and consistency across platforms for a reliable user experience.
Growing up in the Pacific Northwest and the Bay Area, I was surrounded by a blend of stunning nature and cutting-edge innovation. I earned my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Visual Arts at California State University East Bay, followed by a certification as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner from the Nutritional Therapy Association. I never imagined these two fields would intersect, but here I am in healthcare UX and it's been an incredibly rewarding journey!
Ethiopian all day. Not only is it delicious, but nutrient dense and gut-friendly. The flavor profile is an experience every time — spiced kitfo with sour injera and sweet honey wine, chef’s kiss!
The earth is an exceptionally beautiful planet. A close second is the fire and ice that is Iceland, but my most favorite place on earth is right here in California’s Yosemite National Park. My very first visit was a 4-day solo trip in 2017. It transformed my life, and I make the pilgrimage multiple times a year to bask in all its glory.
TEAM. It’s an honor to collaborate and learn from the very impressive folks I get to work with. Together, we push boundaries, challenge ideas, and continually strive to deliver innovative solutions. I love the camaraderie we’ve built and am grateful to be part of such a dedicated group.
I truly appreciate how committed everyone at BrightInsight is to making a difference in people’s lives. Living with a chronic illness myself, I understand the care and dedication required to improve quality of life. It’s a big responsibility to create solutions that have a real impact, and BI shows up every day to make it happen.
One of my hobbies is coastal foraging, specifically within the intertidal zone. Lucky for us in northern California, but unlucky for the kelp forests, invasive purple sea urchin are in abundance and easily foraged during a minus tide. The uni is top (and free!)
