Before joining BrightInsight, Kal was CCO for Doctor on Demand, founded and led Amgen’s Digital Health Business Unit and was also the Global Marketing Lead for Amgen’s Enbrel™. He also held various Commercial Leadership roles at Novartis, was a Principal with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and also served as a Senior Advisor in Digital Health to BCG.
Ferry has eighteen years of experience within the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries, launching multiple digital health solutions that include: Class 1, 2 and 3 regulated devices; combination products; mobile medical apps, and infusion systems software.
Drawing on fifteen years of experience in pharma and medtech, David leads Commercial efforts for BrightInsight. Prior to joining, David was a Partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he served healthcare clients on strategy, commercial, and R&D programs. Before that he was a computational neuroscientist, cofounded and consulted on machine learning for biotechnology, and taught neuroscience as an adjunct professor.
Before joining BrightInsight, Mark held global regulatory and quality leadership positions with digital health and medical device companies including Qualcomm Life, St. Jude Medical, Philips Healthcare and CareFusion.
Mike has helped dozens of medical device, pharma and healthcare delivery companies secure regulatory clearance and approval for their products and services, with a particular focus on digital health solutions.
Al has over 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, including over 6 years in digital health, with a focus Quality, Regulatory and software design controls. He has worked with major medical device, pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies in establishing and re-engineering Quality Management Systems to establish FDA and ISO-compliant, best practices.
Jonathan has been designing, implementing and managing security and privacy programs that protect highly regulated information for over twenty years. His experience includes leading security and privacy operations for IBM Research, Stanford University, Hewlett-Packard, and startups.
Ben brings two decades of experience working in data sciences and software development within healthcare and consumer technologies industries. He has held leadership positions in data architecture and analytics at Doctor on Demand, Amgen Digital Health, GlaxoSmithKline, Takeda and Abbott. Ben also co-founded two startup companies in consumer technologies focusing on personalized user engagement.
In a career spanning twenty-five years, Cliff has successfully developed multiple, regulated digital health solutions, drawing on his extensive background in strategy, consulting and product development, which includes founding the AI practice for Accenture’s Boston office.
Before joining BrightInsight, Amir was the head of Teva Pharmaceutical’s Digital Health Platform as well as one of the founders of Teva’s Digital Health organization. Amir led Teva’s development activities, including a first-of-its-kind asthma monitoring app connecting to the FDA-approved ProAir Digihaler digital inhaler. Amir has also held numerous managerial and engineering roles at Oracle, IBM Research and ProSight.
Before joining BrightInsight, Marcelo established Amgen’s European Digital Health organization, launching their first CE-Marked software medical devices. He has worked in pharmaceuticals for over fifteen years. Prior to joining Amgen, he was Head of Governance and Projects (Finance IT) at Novartis Pharma.
Swati leads Business Operations for BrightInsight, drawing on fifteen years of experience in Operational Execution and Excellence, Process Engineering, PMO and Program Management at Fortune 500 companies.
With over seventeen years of experience managing and developing business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and medical device industries, Derek is responsible for ensuring that BrightInsight engagements meet our customer's performance and quality expectations.
Before joining BrightInsight, Aisling led Viscira’s successful expansion across the U.S., Europe and Asia. Her background includes a broad range of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, advertising and digital media initiatives for organizations including GSK, Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Celgene, Genentech, GlaxoSmithKline, Novartis, Roche and Ultragenyx.
Paul has over a decade’s experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device and digital health industries. Drawing on his experience co-founding a digital health startup in the medical device space and as an EIR at Stanford StartX, Paul focuses on commercial development at BrightInsight.
Jamie has over a decade of digital health experience, having worked with providers, payers, biopharma and medtech companies on launching and marketing their next-generation digital health solutions. Before BrightInsight, Jamie helped grow Qualcomm Life, Inc., into a global leader in the digital health industry.
Mia brings over 15 years of experience in Finance and Assurance Advisory Service positions at multiple startups and public entities in the tech industry. Prior to BrightInsight, she held leadership roles at her previous companies where she built teams and processes to enable businesses to grow and scale.
