Ashish Agrawal heads the engineering organization for BrightInsight, reporting to our CEO Kal Patel. The Engineering organization will be responsible to develop a world-class regulated digital health platform. And also develop & release configurable healthcare applications for our biopharma & medtech customers. This includes the architecture, software development, testing, security, devops & cloud operations (deployment & monitoring) of our platform & applications.
Ashish brings in strong engineering experience leading enterprise software development across multiple domains over the past two decades. Ashish has led platform, applications and mobile development teams working across CRM, Content management, Asset performance management with IoT, Field service management lines of business building products across these domains. Most recently, Ashish served on ServiceMax’s leadership team running engineering, customer support, cloud operations, IT and security functions for the company. Ashish led the team at ServiceMax to release new versions of asset-centric field service platform, scheduling & mobility suite of products. He also ensured high customer satisfaction with consistent scores in mid-90’s & year over year increase in NPS scores.
Prior to ServiceMax, Ashish was the engineering leader for GE Digital’s Asset performance management product-line tasked with creating a platform & building blocks to help build digital apps for different verticals like Power, O&G, Aviation & Healthcare. His experience at GE Digital will be very relevant to our work at BrightInsight.
Ashish has also served & led engineering roles at Documentum by EMC, Oracle & Siebel Systems. Over the years, Ashish has led teams across multiple geographies (US, India, Russia, China, Canada, South America) & aligned the momentum with global teams to deliver high quality products. Ashish is extremely focused on customer success & operates & mentors his teams to operate with a #customerobsessed mindset.
Ashish is a University of Southern California Trojan alumni where he graduated with a MS in Computer Science.
