Varsha leads Platform Engineering for BrightInsight. She is passionate about technology and innovation and has two decades of experience building software platforms and enterprise applications.
As Vice President of Platform Engineering, Varsha is responsible for the platform vision and roadmap driving innovative ideas, architecture, functional and non-functional growth of the platform. She manages a team of platform architects, development managers, leads and engineers building a cloud-native digital health platform with the key pillars of compliance, regulatory, security and data privacy.
Varsha also leads various development teams to provide functional aspects of platform including Administration Services, Patient Healthcare Services Suites, to provide the means for building configuration and metadata driven applications on the platform. She is responsible for the successful implementation of scalable regulated microservice development through optimized repeatable processes and automation.
Previous to BrightInsight, Varsha spent a decade working in the communication industry, leading development of a communications platform for the enterprise retail industry and built voice applications like IVR servers, call queueing and campaign management. She has also worked in storage management domain for building enterprise class storage management applications. Varsha holds a masters degree in Computer Science from Pune University in India.
