Can you share a bit of background on yourself?

I grew up in North India and moved to California in 2007 to pursue my Masters in Software engineering at San Jose State University. I started working in medtech about 10 years ago, first as a web developer and then gradually moved to being a Certified Scrum Master and Program Manager.

What is your favorite food?

Growing up in India, my absolute favorite cuisine was Indo-Chinese. My favorite dishes like chili chicken, manchurian, chow mein, and American chop suey that are spicy, savory, sweet and tangy, with an indescribable umami flavor. I can live on noodles forever but I try not to. Luckily I am very good at mixing up flavors and re-creating these dishes at home.

Where is your favorite place on earth?

When I was in my teens, I went on a youth exchange program to Germany, and fell in love with the city of Heidelberg, with it’s beautiful Renaissance architecture, the red- sandstone castle, town square in the Altstadt and super friendly people. It was like living a dream.
