My title at BI is Senior Manager, Program Management. In this role, in addition to managing project plans across multiple teams, I also collaborate on product enablement which focuses on providing improved processes and templates that enable various teams to achieve consistent delivery using agile product development.
I grew up in North India and moved to California in 2007 to pursue my Masters in Software engineering at San Jose State University. I started working in medtech about 10 years ago, first as a web developer and then gradually moved to being a Certified Scrum Master and Program Manager.
Growing up in India, my absolute favorite cuisine was Indo-Chinese. My favorite dishes like chili chicken, manchurian, chow mein, and American chop suey that are spicy, savory, sweet and tangy, with an indescribable umami flavor. I can live on noodles forever but I try not to. Luckily I am very good at mixing up flavors and re-creating these dishes at home.
When I was in my teens, I went on a youth exchange program to Germany, and fell in love with the city of Heidelberg, with it’s beautiful Renaissance architecture, the red- sandstone castle, town square in the Altstadt and super friendly people. It was like living a dream.

The Pandemic has changed our lives so much over the last 2 years, while it affected our traveling and lifestyle, It did lead to developing new hobbies and re-visiting some old ones. I started doing kickboxing workout as a way to relieve stress but it has made me stronger inside and out and is helping me stay focused on my health goals. I also started reading religiously again and have made a habit of reading 1 book per week this year.
