We are excited to announce that BrightInsight and CSL Behring have been named finalists for the PM360 2023 Trailblazer Award in the Persistence/Adherence Program category for the Hizentra app.
Built on the BrightInsight Platform®, CSL Behring’s Hizentra app enables better disease management by allowing patients to track infusions, get treatment reminders, and record and share their infusion journal with their doctor. The Hizentra app has consistently scored high ratings from patients and achieved industry-leading adoption and retention rates.
PM360, a leading life sciences marketing industry trade publication, established the Trailblazer Awards in 2009 to recognize and honor outstanding companies and initiatives that have demonstrated innovation and achieved incredible results in the life sciences.
The Hizentra app was designed to support patients transitioning from from a nurse-infused therapy to a self-infused therapy, and to help them manage their infusions moving forward
In conjunction with Hizentra therapy, the Hizentra app provides a holistic and integrated therapeutic solution that improves the lives of patients by enabling them to manage their condition with independence, confidence and control. Specifically, the Hizentra app features medication reminders, infusion tracking, a patient journal, resources including tutorial videos, access to nurse support and more.
The Hizentra app addresses pain points for patients using Hizentra. The app has consistently maintained a 4.5+ star rating on the App Store and boasts high adoption and retention, including an 89% retention rate from 90 days to 12 months, compared to the industry average of 45%, as reported in our case study. These data are powering important insights to improve care.
PM360 is the premier, must-read magazine for marketing decision makers in the pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics and medical device industries. Since 2009, the PM360 Trailblazer Awards have recognized outstanding achievement and innovation in healthcare marketing. Each year, nominations are judged by the PM360 Editorial Advisory Board, a distinguished cross-section of industry experts. Winning initiatives were selected for their ability to stand out in the complex, ever-changing healthcare environment, and were judged on their ability to overcome challenges; the skill, innovation, and quality of planning and execution; and the effectiveness of the work.
Anna Stashower, CEO and Publisher of PM360 stated, “developing marketing initiatives within the life sciences always requires striking a unique balance between being innovative but within regulatory confines, delivering a personally relevant experience but without being intrusive, and relaying all of the important information but in a way the audience can still comprehend. This year’s finalists accomplished all of that thanks to creative engagement methods, eye-catching images, immersive experiences and more.”
Finalists are acknowledged and winners will be announced during a gala celebration at Gotham Hall in New York City on Tuesday, October 3. We can’t wait for the awards gala!
